1950s or early 1960s retro American pair of “terrace chairs”. Bought from Gimbels department store in Long Island, New York. Wooden frame, cotton seat covers and backing, with foam filling.
£20 o.n.o. Must collect before from SE23 within next two weeks.
Both chairs will fit in the back of a car with the seats down.
In need of some t.l.c.
Seat covers need a wash. Seat covers are cotton and have been washed many times before. One of the seat covers has a broken zip.
Some damage to the left arm on one chair and the right arm on another (see pictures). Rip in the underside lining in each of them (see pictures).
Great restoration project and years left in them yet!
Really comfy, quite firm seat pads – great for a conservatory. We love them but we are moving and have no space for them.
