With so much happening over the summer, I thought it might be useful for SE23 people to share tips on what to see and do in London over the summer, beyond the strict confines of SE23. There is so much happening, it would be a shame to miss some of the exciting things taking place.

A couple to start us off:
Cable Car starts operating next week across the Thames:

Inflatable Stone Henge - http://sacrilege2012.co.uk/
2 August – Clapham Common
4 August – Burgess Park
9 August – Crystal Palace Park

Also around the Southbank there is always something happening, with all sorts of art surrounding the Royal Festival Hall.

What events are you looking forward to? And where would you recommend visiting this summer in London?

I heard there is some sporting event or other happening in Stratford etc. Might pop in and see if I can join in....

Weather permitting I'm tempted by Leefest. About as local as a music festival with camping is going to get.

Thanks for the heads-up on the inflatable stone henge, definitely in the diary.
