Forgive the long-ish post!
Im posting to let gardeners know of the various Open Garden Festivals taking place locally this summer.
Private home gardens and community gardens will be opening to the public.
As well as opportunities to look around beautiful spaces, there will also be plant stands, food stalls, music!

St Christopher's Hospice Open Gardens Festival.
14 local gardens to open.
Dates: 5 May- 19 August 2012
The festival opens on Saturday 5 May with a large garden party @St Christopher's Hospice Garden, 51-59, Lawrie Park Road, SE26 6DZ
There will be plant and food stalls plus music.

The Chelsea Fringe @Grow Mayow, Mayow Park, Sydenham.
The first ever Chelsea Fringe Festival will be taking place this summer alongside the annual Chelsea Flower Show
Gardens and sustainable projects from across the Capital will be putting on special events and activities.
Iris Borgers of The Gardens of Sydenham/ Grow Mayow has been invited to take part.
The Gardens are currently being featured on the Chelsea Fringe site.
Chelsea Fringe Dates: 19 May- 10 June
