Can anyone in the forum recommend a reputable company that specializes in damp proofing, and also a company specializing in fixing chimneys. The companies do not necessarily need to be local to SE23 but that they are a reputable company producing good quality work at a reasonable price and not cowboys.

Can't help with the damp proofing, but DJ roofing on Lordship Lane did a grand job with our chimney (leaky/staining the ceiling inside) last year.

We have just used Ward, going for 32 years unlike our last one that went bust 10 minutes after doing the work. Very good and our builders have commented on the quality of the work.

Allied Remedials. I've used them a few times and have come out the lowest quote and are a very well established company. They were recommended to me 10 years ago by my surveyor.
