I spoke to a nice young man today about the dog fouling, muggings and burglaries.

He had called in response initially to my email about the dog fouling issue. They are on this issue with the council and he gave me the details of who is in charge of enforcement of this. I'll post the details in a few days as I put it on a post it and I left it at my temp job.

I also highlighted the fact that quite a few a muggings had taken place recently as well as burglaries and he said that he would also look into this with the local constabulary.

I have to say that I've never had much faith in Joan Ruddock as she tends to only get in touch around election time but I guess it's always worth a shot at trying to contact your local MP anyway as that's what they're there for.

I have reported another incident of dog fouling on our road - hopefully if we keep reporting it, they will get the message that this is an important issue and it might get something done (I don't hold my breath though!).

Excuse my ignorance but what has Mrs Ruddock got to do with Forest Hill.

She is the MP for all areas of Lewisham north of Stanstead Road (other than the bit west of FH to HOP).

My apologies Michael. I realised Mr Dowd's had increased his empire to The War Memeorial, Beckenham but had not appreciated he had lost territory as well.

Brian, Joan Ruddock has been the Labour MP for Lewisham, Deptford since 1987.
As described above it covers an area west of Forest Hill towards HOP and Crofton Park, a large part of is SE23:

Ghis
I appreciate she has been MP for Lewisham North for many years but I believe it was only after last election that she included parts of Forest Hill in the domain.
I apologise for my earlier error in not appreciating how the boundary charges
had worked in the north eastern part of Forest Hill
