Parking on Devonshire Road

The new overground line is fantastic in so many ways, but parking for residents is becoming a bit of pain! I hear that Lewisham Council are intending to add more double yellow lines, why thank you very much! that's one way I guess..however a bit excessive! How about providing residents with permits? Is it just me or isn't that a logical solution?

Where did you hear this and does it apply to both ends of the road? Would definitely affect me if it was the FH end.
