This afternoon I noticed a car had crashed right through the fence and landed in Horniman gardens.
This is the second crash I've seen around this spot within a couple of weeks
Last one was a car driving down the wrong side of the road crashed into a van going the opposite way leading to a head on collision by the Horniman gates.
This was mid-afternoon.
Just wondering if we could/should lobby the council to put some kind of speed cameras in there.
I dont know the story behind the car I saw crashed up onto the pavement and through the fence today but theres a lot of pedestrian traffic on that stretch of pavement and it looked like the driver must have been going at some speed to end up like that.
It was a nice looking Mercedes too Sad

I spotted it at 1.45pm and saw the police ticker tape and sand on the pavement for the spilt petrol, so must have happened earlier today.
