Hi everyone

The Horniman's next after-hours event 'Being Late' is on Thursday 18 October, 6.30-10pm.

Set designers Abby and Alice will transform the Horniman with botanical-inspired installations to tie in with the theme of the night - human beings’ relationship with the natural world.

You can take part in a collective art workshop to reveal a mysterious painting, have your fortune told by a spiritual medium and watch a new science-fiction video work in which a mysterious occurrence has transformed the Horniman’s much loved Natural History Gallery.

We also have a great line-up of live music featuring alternative musician Paddy Steer, Neo Afro Folk artist The Venus Bushfires and folk singer-songwriters Bity Booker, Cunning Folk and Marisa, Jack & Davy.

Plus don’t miss your exclusive opportunity to visit The Lore of the Land exhibition before it officially opens on 20 October, the first in the Horniman’s new arts space The Studio.

There'll also be food and bars available.

Tickets are £5. For more information, please see our website.

Lates are for over-18s only.
