Arts Award Summer School for Young People
Monday 6 - Friday 10 August
Taster Session on Thursday 26 July, 2-4pm

Calling all young people! Get creative, learn new skills and earn an Arts Award qualification this summer.

If you are aged 14-19, the Horniman is offering you an exciting opportunity to participate in a week long programme of creative workshops from 6-10 August, while working towards a Level 1 accredited Bronze Arts Award.

Alongside the organisation Tiger Monkey UK, each day you will explore the Museum, and get creative using mediums such as video, sculpture, radio, drawing and painting.

You do not need any previous arts experience - this is an opportunity to get inspired, learn new skills and go on a creative journey.

The Arts Award Summer School is free with lunch and travel expenses included.

This opportunity is open to anyone who is interested, and priority is given if you are out-of-school or on pupil premium.

For more information and to book, contact Rudi by email at rschmidt@horniman.ac.uk or call 020 8699 1872 (ext 160).

Taster Session, Thursday 26 July
If you want to have a preview of what the workshops will be like, join a taster session on Thursday 26 July from 2-4pm. There are limited spaces, so book now by emailing Rudi at rschmidt@horniman.ac.uk.
