Does anybody know of any local services to mark Remembrance Sunday? We went to Dulwich last year but wondered if there is anything closer to home. Thanks.

i think the most local one is the one that takes place in lewisham high street, and the lewisham way war memorial.

more info on those two place's can be found on lewishams website.

http://www.lewisham.gov.uk/NewsAndEvents...Sunday.htm

going by that date not sure if its this sunday or next wens as lewisham have screwed up the date.
i would think its this sunday, but to double check phone the town hall.

I think if you look closely you will see that the date is actually correct...if we were still in 2006 which is the year at the bottom of this release!

Nice to see the Lewisham website so up to date. Maybe they will accept council tax at 2006 rates?? Smile

There will be wreaths laid and the silence observed at the War Memorial near the Harvester.
