Hi, not strictly SE23 I know, but does anyone know what is happening with the Ravensbourne Park Crescent roadworks? (Along the bottom of Ravensbourne Park.) As in, what are they doing, what is the purpose of it, what's the end result going to be, and crucially, why is it taking so long with no discernible progress?
The road looks a right state, and makes the walk to Catford station something of an obstacle course. And I just can't figure out what it is they're up to! Any enlightenment would be great.

The roadworks have now gone but they've left the pavement on the other side of the road in a terrible state

Tell me about it! It's really ugly, not to mention a health and safety hazard, and extremely wheelchair and buggy unfriendly Cursing
And i still can't tell what the works actually achieved Confused

I read something attached to a lamp-post that they were installing power cables for the new development next to the station
