There was a nasty crash on Houston Road today a few doors down from my house.
I hope that those involved are okay and not too shaken and that the driver(s) of the third car involved are successfully punished. It appeared they were the cause of the crash only to flee the scene but I think they were successfully caught due to actions of witnesses and police. I don't know this for sure but that's what we gathered.
Traffic needs to be calmed down this road as this yet again proves!

Was the crash yesterday, ie Saturday? Isn't that the second one this week? Someone was telling me on Thursday there had been a crash a few days before.

In which part of the road did the crash happen?

blushingsnail,

Yes it was Saturday (yesterday) and just at the junction with Priestfield Road. I know there was one at the end opposite Cranston recently maybe a couple of weekends ago now I can't remember...
This one seemed to involve a stolen/suspicious car in the mix.
The cars just fly down this road, not good especially when you have young childrenSad

I think there was definitely something suspicious going on. As I drove down Houston Road about an hour earlier, there were 6-7 Police hanging around with what I thought was a speed camera. But I commented then that it seemed a lot of police. And then this - were they expecting someone?!? Very 'Minority Report'

Yes we saw that too as we were returning home...lots of police but no police cars or any vehicles, we thought it was odd. Maybe a coincidence though.
