We have been hearing a cat meowing from the car park area near Upton Leaze, just off London Road. It was heard early this morning, at lunchtime and then I myself heard it for the first time at 10pm and intermittently (about every 5-10 mins) until now (2am). Been out to have a look but I cannot locate where its coming from, plus its dark so can't see much. Lots of nooks and crannies around here so I think a cat might be stuck somewhere.

I heard it too and I'm at number 67, first building in the flats. I thought it was in the gardens behind us but if you're hearing it over at the car park maybe not. I'll wander out now and have a good look around.

Perhaps a call to the RSPCA.

I've reported it to RSPCA but they said that unfortunately without lack of specific details about where it is they cannot investigate further. I have not heard it this morning. I checked in some of the bins last night as sometimes it sounded further away (slightly muffled) and other times really clear. At a guess it sounded like it was coming from the area behind the car park and near that shed that L&Q use. If I see the caretakers I will mention it to them in case its locked in their lock up.

I couldn't find anything this morning either. I'm around all day so I'll listen out for it and be ready to head out with a torch tonight if it starts up again.

Poor little guy, I was worried about him all night!
