Hi, I'm looking for a skateboard for a 17 year old care leaver that I am working with. Either very cheap or free would be good. Thanks

I know just the guy that could give you info on this. Anotherjohn's son has the skateshop in Streatham, by the ice rink (local SE23 owner). Sure he would give a discount but no-one can give a freebie in January as it's such a slow month. Good luck Mummyjane.Maybe you could pick one up from one of the local charity shops and change the wheels and barings, as far as I know this makes them go faster according to my 11 year old son, and yes Anotherjohn gave him one that has these superfast wheels and barings that scare the life out of me! Tut!

Oi P1971!
If I had a skateboard I'd happily give it to MummyJane - but, regrettably, I can't help. It's a shame we're out of the bootfair season because I'm sure I'd've been able to find a decent one for her. Sorry!

Oi Mr Man!
I know you would because you do loads for SE23, but you are still getting told off from me because Charlie is going mad doing crazy skateboarding tricks up and down D Rd, Gu from the DVD shop is calling him Dispicable Me now!

See you soon Mr Man x

Hi All thanks for the advice I will keep a look out in the charity shops. I wouldn't have a clue how to go about changing wheels and bearings but I'm sure the young fella I want it for will know all that
