I need to get some shoes resoled - preferably in or near SE23.
I see Mr Le's has closed down. Anyone know of or recommend other local shoe repair services?
Thanks,
BigED

I think he is now Mr Cobbler 25 London Road on the side where Wetherspoons used to be.

Yes, after being given short notice to quit from the original shop I was really happy to see that they managed to secure a better premises bang opposite their old location. I have a particular interest in this because I rented them their original Forest Hill shop in Dartmouth Road in the early 2000s (although some years later they found the shop in London Road by the bus stop with better footfall).

Took me a long time to get round to it but I finally took my old shoes to Mr Cobbler.
It cost a bit more than i had hoped (been over 20 years since i got some shoes mended) but still much less than a replacement pair. The soles and heels were in a right state so they've been completely replaced. My new old shoes are really comfortable and fit for purpose again.
Thanks to all who let me know about the move to Mr Cobbler. I'm happy with the repair done to my shoes . Thanks to Mr Cobbler/Mr Le. If anyone needs shoes mending, do use your local cobbler....
