Safer Lewisham Bus brings safety advice to you

Lewisham Council Press Release:

The Safer Lewisham bus will be visiting five different locations across the borough from Monday 19 May until Friday 20 May.

The Local Safer Neighbourhood Police Teams will be attending so that residents can report crimes or discuss local problems. Council Wardens and Crime Prevention Officers will also be available to offer advice and information.

Residents will be able to find out about a wide range of police, Council, NHS and voluntary services which help communities to reduce crime in Lewisham.

The bus will be visiting:

* Monday 19 May, 11am-3pm, Sainsbury?s, Bell Green
* Tuesday 20 May, 11am-3pm, Plasey Road Car Park , Rushey Green, Catford
* Wednesday 21 May, 11am-3pm, Deptford Market
* Thursday 22 May, 4am-8pm, A stall will be set inside Lewisham Shopping Centre
* Friday 30 May, 11am-3pm, Opposite Sainsbury?s, London Road, Forest Hill

As part of National Tackling Drugs Week the bus will be providing additional information on services to help people tackle drugs or alcohol problems.

The visits are being co-ordinated by Lewisham Council.

Not targetting anyone that works M-F 9-5, then? Do we read anything into this?
