Have two tickets for sale at face value (£75 each) this Tuesday at Wembley. Starts at 5pm. PM if interested.

You do know it's illegal to re-sell Olympic tickets except through the official web site?

According to the official website it is OK to sell them to friends and family. I can be available to confirm I have sold them on the day.
I am selling them at face value and not making a profit.

Don't get me wrong, I know you're not trying to make a profit, but I have heard stories of LOCOG coming down hard on people who sold tickets to friends. And I'm sure they have bots trawling the Internet. This is what the official site says:
'Tickets are strictly non-transferable and must not be sold or advertised for sale on the internet, in newspapers or anywhere else other than via the official London 2012 ticket resale programme.'
You can resell them through the official site, which might actually give you a better chance than on this rather small local forum!

Thank you for your concern. I believe I have paid for the tickets so they belong to me - if I see fit to sell them to whoever I choose I also believe that is my choice. Why should Olympic tickets be different to any other item.

Also the resale programme is upto 7 day's before the event - which mine are not so not eligible to be sold on the offical site.

A friend of mine has just sold some tickets to a work colleague of mine. her stipulation was that I needed to provide the names of the people that were going to be using the tickets in her place.
Not sure what process she went through to register these names, but that's what she did.
Hope this helps

Thank you. I think that is so that at the gate the "officials" might call the ticket holder and they need to know who they sold them to - which is fair enough. It's really not a big deal - it was just to stop ticket touts buying and reselling lots of tickets at inflated prices - which I am not.

I'm not trying to rain on your parade, but it is illegal to sell them online. Just a friendly heads-up as I heard LOCOG were checking small ads snd forums. Good luck with selling them in any case.
