Visited this pub this evening for the first time; (it's opposite the Odeon Cinema, our 'handy' cinema for Forest Hill.)

Has anyone else had a drink here? The beer stank and was obviously off. Politely mentioned it to the barman who referred me to the owners who were sat at the bar (appeared drunk) ... very aggressive. Pretty shocked, as it's been years since I've had any 'problem' in a pub.

Avoid!

It's a pretty grotty establishment, despite the fairly respectable outside appearance and the hopes raised by the Harvey's beer.

Interesting write up on Beer in the Evening (most recent one yours I assume) with a consensus of views on the subject!

I has the look of having been decent enough in the relatively recent past, perhaps before the current owners.

There is a pub in Beckenham called the Jolly Woodman that I love. (You can read up on it on aforementioned 'beer in the evening'. Normally I avoid places called 'the jolly' anything, but this place is great.[/align]
