Hi
I very much enjoyed last evening's Burns Night. Well done to the organisers.
When talking to Michael he mentioned that there was a planned whisky tasting on the 2nd February.
I would be grateful if I could be given more details & whether I might be able to attend?
Cheers
Steve

Hi Steve

I'm pretty sure The Whisky Club is at The Honor Oak. I've got a meeting later on today with Michael & a couple of others so I'll tell him about your post so he can reply to you.

Pauline

Details are at http://www.se23.com/forum/showthread.php...2#pid71892
And all meeting details are posted on the facebook group which anybody can join (approval allows us to share information without it being completely public domain).

It is a great little club with some real whisky experts, a director of an English distillery, and a lot of keen amateur tasters.

I should point out that the club is independent of the Forest Hill Society but it is still great fun and avoids long journeys home from whisky clubs in central London!

I've been asked to do a little plug for the SE23 Whisky Club which is still going after 10 years (as is the distillery we are featuring this month)

The next tasting, on Tuesday, is a little bit special as we have the opportunity to see the development of whisky in a unique way...

Lakes Distillery - 10 years evolution
Tuesday 13th January 2026 - 8pm

10 exclusive whiskies over 10 years - each drawn from the earliest casks produced at the distillery - a unique opportunity to experience how the character and flavour of The Lakes Spirit has evolved over the last 10 years.
Tickets are £30
Venue: Foresters Arms (All Inn One) on Perry Vale.
