Post: RE: Farmers' market in the Horniman Gardens

Red67 - I do stand corrected. I was simply giving my opinion of what I would like and which I thought was what was being canvased. I will obviously defer to your no-doubt expertise in all things r...

Red67 - not sure having a veg stall one day a week at the farmers should really preclude having a shop that would offer a wider range, organic produce and fruit. I am not aware that the veg stall sel...

Blimey - expecting me to be able control my kids outside the confines of a park. You will be suggesting I get them to use a knide and fork next - what is the world coming to?

SLondon - In case of any confusion I am not suggesting that only "local" people should be allowed to trade in SE23. The market promotes itself as locally sourced ie "A locally sourced, locally sol...

Hoona - I totally agree (as you will see from my posts on that thread) Any market should run with the support of the local food traders and if it increases footfall should be used to promote all the ...

I admire the optimism but the thread has 139 posts so I suspect there is a bit of a debate. There is loads of space at the market - so not really sure why any of the locals who want a stall can't h...
