Dear neighbours,

Anyone who saw a person banging/kicking at the front door of the house at the top of Tyson Road on Tuesday, 22 April, at around 1pm, and can share information that might help to identify that person, is kindly requested to report it to the police.

If you live nearby, you might want to be extra cautious in light of this incident.

I'm aware of one Burglary on Brockley Rise that occurred a few weeks ago late evening around 11pm I think. I believe they kicked the door in, 2 people went in -sort of thankfully the owners were in and the people left without taking anything - slightly terrifying for the owners no doubt.

I'm also aware of another attempted burglary on Brockley Rise in the last 7 days - not sure what time that was.

Not sure if there is a slight spike currently or pure co-incidence (as I have no idea on the area wide stats) but certainly worth reviewing security measures on front doors, I think there was a similar thread not that long ago.

For anyone thinking of moving here, it's a really nice area honestly :-)
