Two options were presented at last week's Local Assembly for the new toilets in the Horniman Triangle. The two options were very similar (both had three toilets near the Cafe), but were either attached or detached from the Cafe. The disabled toilet will be accessed with a RADAR key.
The option which had the toilets attached to the Cafe was unananimously approved, although one lady expressed a desire that the toilets were located nearer the sandpit. However, the toilets are being located near the Cafe to reduce the risk of vandalism.
This design will be taken forwards, but the council will bear in mind the desire that two of the toilets had changing facilities, so hopefully we will end up with three toilets of which two will have larger cubicles.
