I've heard rumours that the Windmill pub is closing down and that it will be turned into a Sainbury's! Surely this can't be a good thing given how close it would be to the Tesco and Costcutter on that stretch of rd. Is there any truth in this, does anyone know?

I fear you may be correct - there's been debate on se26.com. And yes, the rumours are Sainsbury local (4 shop fronts from a Tesco Express!

Yes definitely Sainsburys. They currently have planning applications for new signage and installing an ATM.
