does anyone know where you can park a van/minibus securely around here for 2 weeks while on holiday?
or know of heathrow airport parking that will take a van/minibus?

Airport parking should accommodate you at the standard rate I believe, as long as it fits in a bay.
As for secure parking, cant think of anywhere locally that falls into that category.

Personally, i would not park at the airport. I heard that someone came back from holiday and could not drive home because he did not have any wheels!
