There will be another Bird Walk in Mayow Park - meet at the Pavilion at 7am with your binoculars. We hope it won't rain this time!

We are also thinking of organising a visit to South Norwood Country Park for another early weekend morning for those of you, more serious Ornithologists. Please PM me if you're interested...

Monday 7th June 1:30pm

The Mayor of Lewisham will be officially opening the new Bowls Club accommodation and also unveiling the new Mayow Park Masterplan. Although Groundwork only received 20 questionnaires back in the end, they were all detailed enough to amend the plan and expand their research further. This will be the Final Final Draft proposal. We shall be encouraging the Council and Groundwork to display this (either on the web or hard copy) for those of you who can't attend.

Just want to bump this up for tomorrow....

Join us at 1:30pm Monday 7th June in Mayow Park where the Mayor of Lewisham will be officially opening the new Bowls Club accommodation and unveiling the final, final draft Masterplan for the park by Groundwork. Official opening at 2pm, light refreshments and a Bowls match between the club and Envirowork's finest.

For those who can't attend the event, I shall be commenting on the blog with further information regarding where the Masterplan can be viewed.
