Hi, there was an attempt to break into our flat yesterday morning (Monday 18th) around 11-12 AM, on Forest Hill end of Devonshire Road near Woodcombe Crescent.
Had a go at both the front and back doors, before smashing a window at the rear of the property. Luckily a neighbour who stays at home during the day scared him/them away before they stole anything and the flat is now secure and fixed.
The burglar(s) obviously determined to get in, and judging by the tools used this was not an opportunist. Police said there had been quite a few incidents in the Forest Hill area recently, so please keep an eye out.
Also, please let me know if you saw any suspicious behaviour.
