A long haired black cat (male I think) has on a couple of occasions wandered into my house and taken a nap. He is very friendly and has a collar with a bell but no tag. He is often around Woolstone Road and given the cold snap I am interested to check that he has a home and is just being an opportunist. He appears well and I attach a picture.

Here's a link to a better photo of the moggy - he came to visit me a few months ago. I am hoping that he is just a friendly opportunist rather than a stray.

I think I have just seen him cross the road. He actually stopped traffic on Woolstone. Didn't seem to bother him. He just sauntered on. Hope he keeps some of his 9 lives. Seems quite a character.
