I was really pleased to see renovation work kick off and the massive flats all along London Road opposite Sainsbury's covered in scaffolding.

Now one section is done it looks like they've been painted a light lemon colour! Anyone else see yellow?? I wonder whether that's what the Council chose as it's different to the other Lewisham properties along the stretch. And also it seems an odd choice for traditional victorian buildings.

I doubt it's a price thing... paint must surely be paint, right? I'm wondering whether the contractors who did the work got the wrong colour!

Anyone know how to suggest to the Council that they look into it (so far they've only done one building so if they could fix it for the rest that would be a huge improvement)? I've emailed the Conservation team but I'm not sure whether the buildings are part of the conservation area. Anyone know?

All suggestions gratefully received. Thanks Confused
I think it should be L&Q Housing Association that you'd need to contact for this. Probably based out of the Dartmouth Road (Kingswear House) office..
OK thanks poolsneighbour. Will try calling or emailing them. You wouldn't have their contact details would you?
