The other sad rumour is that St Davids coffee shop is likely to close in the next few weeks, unless somebody would like to take over this business.

I love St Davids!
We love St Davids too. It was the first coffee shop to drag us out of Sydenham and attracted our hard earned pay to be spent in Forest Hill instead.
I really hope that St. David's doesn't close, for me the best coffee in Forest Hill.

Owners Dan & Lisa felt that it was time for a change, and decided to sell up. For a while it was looking like the cafe would shut for good, but thankfully some buyers have come forward in the final hour, in the form of three friends who were regular customers. The cafe is now temporarily closed for handover and a few changes. Not sure when it will be open again. Watch this space!
A close shave but saved, in true Victor Kiam style, by customers to liked to coffee so much, they bought the shop!
