Does anyone know anything about the shambles in the station forecourt? Was it a car crash or an attempted ram-raid on the cash machines? Either way, it's taking somebody a heck of a long time to repair. I've just left a comment with Southern Rail's customer service webpage and I'll post any reply I get. Apart from missing the cash machines and the unsightly appearance, it's pretty dangerous driving on the forecourt because commuters have to walk on the car park rather than the pavement. (To be honest, they always go dashing across the car park anyway but at the moment they have no alternative.)
