Just wondered if anyone else on here was tattoo'ed, likes them, or wants one, but not got round to it?
Had some work done myself last night, and always interested to see what the people of FH are walking around with on their skin

Always thought about it until the wife asked what it would look like when I was 65.

lol so many people say that, but to be honest, if my whole body is sagging at 65, what difference will a tattoo make
However, I do get mine done out of sight, so I dont impose them on others lol
Ha ha, very true. Given my girth though I suspect I would be charged quite a lot more than you average sized person. The wife also promised to divorce me if I had one done so can you reccomend any good tatoo artists

lol good motivation if I ever heard it.
I went to Leighton Buzzard to get mine.
As for size, im not the smallest person in the world either, but decided on a big piece. Its about the size of a sheet of A4 paper.
Will post a pic up
Oh please don't Snazy - what is this fascination with tattoos? I think they are all hideous and that also goes for body piercings.
Maybe I'm old fashioned but I just cannot comprehend the appeal.
Shudder, shudder...

The excellent forum seems to have deleted all the text that went with that reply ! Doh'
In short, its not a fascination, just an "interest" My skin scrap book.
Looks a bit like that fish is being sick to me.
I hope you checked what those characters meant before you had them put on - they might spell 'vomit'!
Just joking Snazy - it's very colourful...
I cannot help believing anyone who has a tatoo does not regret it sometime in the future.
I have no problem with anyone having a tatoo as long as they do not expect The NHS to remove it.
lol blimey some people take life far to seriously
Brian, I have not regretted any of mine to date, and just to make you feel a bit better, I would never ask nor expect the NHS to remove them.
I paid to have them done, if I wanted rid (which I wont) I would pay also.
lol @ the fish being sick, the only sick fishies are in my tank at the mo.
But a modern man who tattooes himself is either a criminal or a degenerate. Why, there are prisons where eighty per cent of the convicts are tattooed, and tattooed men who are not in prison are either latent criminals or degenerate aristocrats. When a tattooed man dies at liberty, it simply means that he hasn't had time to commit his crime.
Adolf Loos, "Ornament and Crime".
Mr Cleans Loos is clearly a little misguided then me thinks
Only an opinion of course.
What, you're not an aristocrat?

lol I choose not to conform to social catagorisation or tagging
I am quite simply..................me

Apart from the fact that you have just gone and tagged yourself?
I always think it's interesting how there is the theme among decorated sorts that it somehow makes them "different", unique, individual - when in some ways having one says more about you than not having one.
lol tagged myself as simply me ?
Or the physical tag ?
Having a tattoo does say something, your quite right, thats the whole point of it. But what it says is determined by the person viewing it.
However, personally, the message the tattoos have for me are about me, for me, and if frowned on by others, thats their cross to bare, not mine

Don't know if you've read 'Until I Find You' by John Irving... it's about a tattooist and people who have tattoos (amongst other things... its a big book!) but the underlying theme is around that - you may find it interesting if you're into tattoos - and Bob Dylan.
I shall take a look. Like tattoos, but Bob who? lol (just kiddin)
I know it is a free country but I am very much against people defacing their bodies. I still believe if they have a tatoo at say 19 the same tatoo is not an embarrasment when they are say 70. I am especially against ladies having tatoo's.
Having said the above I know people are fully entitled if they so desire to have tatoo's as I earlier said very much against free removal on NHS.
I know my last employer would not employ anyone with visible tatoo.
