We're off to watch the 7 a side at the Olympic park tomorrow morning, with the kids. Having been already I know that the Lewisham-Stratford DLR link is the best and quietest route. The weak link is the P4 bus though. As we have to be at Stratford by about 8am, and its a Sunday, does anyone know of a good place to park for Lewisham station (or one or two stops up the line)? Then it will be a 10 minute drive rather than 30mins plus for the bus, which at that time on a Sunday morning will be much more pleasant!

I don't blame you for avoiding the P4. Parking on a Sunday in Lewisham is fairly easy as most of the restrictions don't apply on Sunday. I tend to head towards the road where the bowling alley is and park along the parade of shops just beyond that. Enjoy your day out.
