http://www.skyscrapernews.com

Full of information about london and others areas building plans.
Wonderful pictures of the future. Quite scary nonetheless. Their forum is also full of stuff as well.

Take a look at the link below for a glimse into the future.

You may recognise the view!?
personally can't wait for the shard to be built Smile

Love skyscrapernews.com: it's high on my wilfing list Smile
This is really interesting. Where exactly is this view from?
One of the "ship" blocks that dominate our view to the Northwest I think
What road are the ship blocks on? I have always wondered exactly where they are.
The "ship" blocks are on Overhill Road; the foreground of this photo is surely Canonbie Road with a glimpse of Netherby Road (to the left hand side) and the playground of Cabrini school to the right. Maybe taken from the block next to Fairlawn School.
Thanks Big Julie!
A few well designed, unique structures like the Gherkin can enhance our skyline. As long as we don't go all Donald trump I'm happy, as well as they are interesting, fine. Shame that Docklands is looking a bit boring now.
The future City skyline...

..I think is a direct result of Docklands being so uniformed.

The City realised it had to raise its game.

Although I also kindof like the Docklands skyline: sitting in the Trafalgar in Greenwich, with a pint, looking out the window at night, the view is truly breathtaking.
