Hi all. I moved into the area in December and I commute by bike to Forest Hill station. Last night (Wednesday 25th.) I came back just after 7:00 to find that my bike had been damaged. It was in the bike shelter in the station forecourt. It looks like the damage was caused by a car backing into my bike while reversing - the rear wheel was crushed round the cycle post. Hard to do unless you were in a car.
I was wondering if anyone had seen the incident? Of course the driver didn't leave a note, so I'm left with a pretty hefty repair bill and a long walk while my bike is fixed. I'm working with National Rail to see if this was caught on CCTV as well.
