Co-incidences make it look like there is a pattern in what can be random events. People are more likely to be burgled while their home is clearly empty - when they are on holiday. People are also most likely to be using an airport parking service while on holiday. Does that mean the two are connected?

There are only a certain number of parking companies working at each airport. So it is not that unlikely that you and your neighbours use the same company. Put all those things of highly probability together and you get a co-incidence, not a conspiracy.
We did gave the name of the company to the police, but they thought as the hotel was a well known one, it could not be them (we had a package with the hotel, parking and stay for the night of travelling. The cars are normally taken away from the hotel parking and moved somewhere else, then when you come back, they will bring them to you to the airport). However we did find a strange telephone call on our answering machine same day of the robbery, but could not trace the number. The police came, took forensic, inspected our home, found it very secure (the alarm was on when it happened). It has been over a year now and we have moved on. We only hope we are going to be safe in the future.
