My Mother has just arrived in SE23 and is looking for a book group to join. Are there any here someone could recommend?

There is also a book club which meets regularly at the Grapes & Grain Pub in Crystal Palace.

There may also be one at Try on Honor Oak Park

I think if you're looking to join a group now the new one announced elsewhere on this site may be your best bet: http://www.se23.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=5401. I have the feeling that other local groups are either full or inactive. But it's just a feeling.
