Out of curiousity, is there a lot of through traffic on Trilby Road?

I ask because, as I stare out of the 1st floor window, I've noticed more than expected vans, lorries and cars speeding along Shipman Road and sharply turning into Trilby Road (and coming out as well).

I always thought Trilby Road would be a quiet road to live on in the area connecting the bottom of Perry Vale to Stanstead Road. That passing traffic would use the Normanton Rd/Vestris Rd/Kemble Rd or the Siddons Rd/Farren Rd/Colfe Rd route.

I've considered hanging outside the Sunderland Rd/Trilby Rd alleyway to see what's going on, but I don't want people writing about me on the "Anti-social behaviour in Trilby Road area" thread.
I've got a place on there, not much traffic at all.
I have using it more recently as an alternative to Vestris road as you are less likely to meet other cars and have to stop so maybe I have skewed your perception of traffic flow.......
