Don't forget this weekend's Forest Hill Ward Assembly, Sunday 14th August, 2pm to 4.30pm, Sydenham School, Dartmouth Road, SE23.

Alongside updates on local issues and organisations, you will have the chance to vote on which bids get funding from the Forest Hill Ward Assembly Fund - 17 bids have been submitted for a share of the £45,000 available (note that voting is open to those over the age of 14 who live, work or learn in the ward).

See you there!

Cllr Alex Feakes
I hope to see lots of SE23.com users at the Assembly this afternoon so that you can have your say in improving facilities available in the ward.
And a reminder that Forest Hill ward is west of the railway line from Honor Oak Park to Wells Park (see map).
The successful bids were as follows:
Arts Befriending Group and Theatre project (Aging Well Lewisham)
Healthy Living Workshops (CentrePoint)
Training young people to fundraise (FH & Sydenham Youth Forum)
Kirkdale Village Street Beautification
Safety Rulez (Platform One)
Busy Bees (Horniman Museum)
Shelter for the Devonshire Road Nature Reserve
Feasibility study for Open Air Theatre on Albion Millennium Green
Wildlife Hedgerow and Fencing for Albion Millennium Green
Empty Shop Fronts (Forest Hill Society)
Town Centre Planting schemes (Forest Hill Society)
Outdoor Table Tennis (Forest Hill Society)
Horniman Triangle Swings (Forest Hill Society)
I was sorry to not have made this, but it sounds like a productive time.
