Cant the government see that the police havent got the manpower to control these riots. The army should be brought in immediately to assist the police. It will be the same old democratic response in that we should have acted earlier but we are back on the beaches of Dunkirk again. Should have done this and should have done that.

you may not have noticed but the army is somewhat busy right now - and facing huge cuts
