I agree too. BUT it won't be a Pizza Express - it's just not big enough. But let's hope for something good.
robbrockley - you seem very assured... ?
i have heard its a small operator looking to do ale and pies - 3 to 4 young guns ...
Rob - I suspect you may be right - the point I was making though was rather that idle speculation seems a bit pointless at this stage so let's just wait and see what turns up.
An operating business is better than an empty building falling further and further into disrepair (and while it's easy to bash landlords, the landlord won't want to have to continue to pay for maintenance etc if he can get a good, paying, tenant in on a FRI lease, so it is in his interests to get the place let).
Where did you hear that benomesnines?
I do hope from a reliable source
ditto - news please - facts only

Judging by the menu on their website and the reviews, this looks like it could be a bit of a result!
Yum!!
Glad it's an independent too! All round good news for HOP!
woohoo! i was hoping for a pizza place.
amazing news. We should help them promote the business on here and socially, we will all want them to succeed of course

I think this could be a very successful restaurant. I predict queues out the door - sodo kus

its quite amusing that a trendy hackney restaurant is coming down here too. I might need to invest in a porkpie hat...
Fabulous news - can't wait to try it!
I predict queues out the door - sodo kus

Great! No need for a campaign this time

Work has already started by the looks of things! Quick turnaround hopefully...
Yes, I understand it has. Such good news, if it is well run then it should fly.
Definitely makes all the campaigning against Domino's worth while, well done everybody, this is so great for Honor Oak Park
