It is amazing Broken Promises.
Eco Computers after all are not paying staff even though they promised to have a fully paid staff member

Broken promises in days of taking overConfused

Dear Mr Taylor,

I understood from your ‘pitch’ at the Town Hall that you would be
providing a Librarian in each local library. That does not seem to be the case at
Sydenham from the statement below – can you clarify that for me please and
therefore who will be training & developing the Eco-system staff and the
volunteers and who will answer reference enquiries from the public?
Will your own staff (and possibly the volunteers too) be trained in library
work at all at any level? If so what form will this take?
Yours sincerely
Mrs Karen Hans
Bellingham Resident
Sorry, I have no idea what this is about. Can you put it into context?
Books are so cheap at charity shops not sure many libraries have a raison d'etre
Roz - a company called Eco Computers have taken over Sydenham Library which was scheduled for closure.

For some reason, the OP is unhappy with how Eco Computers is going about it's business.

The book as a commodity, like a cabbage. A book is a book is a book. Reminds me of the old joke:
'Do you think we should get him a book for his birthday?'
'Oh no, he's got a book!'
