I've noticed that for ages that the "current time" according to the website is about an hour ahead. As I write this, it's 12.35 am 2 February 2008 in virtual SE23 but it's 11.35 pm on 1 February 2008 here in the real world.

The clocks went back ages ago.What gives?

YOu need to update your profile.
Click 'User CP', then click 'options' under 'Your profile'. Change the time to GMT.

And I think you might have to uncheck the daylight savings box
