I just wonder how many people realise the selection of shops there is there too:

Notable Examples:
- Really good Pides and Kebab turkish takeaway near the bookie
- Le Querce (obviously)
- New Bakery opening soon
- Jamaican takeaway and deli
- Attractions hairdresser + massages and beauty treatments
- Post Office
- McLarens
etc

Now there are a lot more shops obviously and Babur is around the corner.

I just feel that Brockley Rise needs to be included in the Honor Oak / Honor Oak Park Parade discussions.

the dry cleaner is very good too - 5 items for a tenner

Good barber too.

And looking forward to trying the new baker.

I use these shops much more than the parade

The Chinese restaurant, Tai Wu, is also excellent. Good food, friendly service & reasonably priced.

Just stopped at the baker on the way back from my gym in town. My first time in there and very impressed! Selling like hot cakes too (sorry...) managed to get the last French stick and I am very impressed by their bread (us French always rate a bakery by the quality of their baguette.).

Then also went to the Organic Deli and Jamaican take-away near Attraction and this is definately another place where I will become a regular. They had the types of products I have been on the look-out (organic, health products, nice fruit and veg) very friendly service too.

Went to Attractions again on Saturday. That place is so chic these days and the prices are extremely reasonable.

The electrical shop is very good too.
