Last Sunday's "Broadcasting House" on BBC Radio 4 included a piece which mentions (in passing) Honor Oak's "One Tree Hill Allotment Society" and interviews the vice-chair.
You can listen to it (until next Sunday) via the BH website -
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/news/bh/ - click on "listen to the latest edition". Skip to 23 minutes and 55 seconds for the relevant section - it lasts about 8 minutes.
It's more about local veg, bartering and allotments than Honor Oak but interesting nonetheless.
Good to get the chance to get HOP and allotments on the radio.
It would be great to see an update of what's going on in the allotments on your website. There doesn't seem to be any news since December 2006 unless I'm missing something. I'd be interested in knowing what's going on.

Yes, sorry for the lack of news, it is one thing I am working on at the moment, I hope to have some thing done by the end of the week. I am also waiting on another organisation to arrange their open weekends for this year so I can select a date for the Open Day we have.
Will let you know in due course
We've had a lot of vandalism on the One Tree Hill Allotment site recently. Three times in the last month or so and it happened again yesterday and this time the vandals made off with someone's shed!!! You can't get into the site without a key which must mean that these people tossed it over the fencing!
Please if someone sees anyone entering the site without a key, please call the police as they are trespassing. The local police are already trying and patrolling the site every now and again but keep your eyes peeled. Thanks.
