The fine people at non-profit mySociety.org (makers of many fine projects) have developed a new site called Groups Near You.

This site (se23.com) is already listed but I'd encourage anybody else running a local group (Forest Hill Society, Friends of One Tree Hill, others?) to upload your group details.

I have no affiliation with or financial interest in the site - I just think it's a great idea.

I'd heard of some of their sitese before e.g. they workforyou and E-petitions, but didn't realise they were from the same "family" - fine projects indeed!!
