Either on the train from London Bridge to Honor Oak or the P4, to just beyond Fairlawn school between 2.30pm and 3.30pm today, a diamond stud earring of massive sentimenal value to me .............. am devastated to have lost it.

If anyone may have seen it, picked it up or handed it in somewhere - please contact me, I'b be extremely grateful.

Appreciate its abit of long shot, but anything is worth a try to get it back.

I'm sure your suggestion is meant in the spirit of helpfulness, but believe me have tried and am continuing to try, every possibility - hence the forum.

So Lost Property at the bus garage, station, train operator, tfl, school, etc have all been contacted. Any other suggestions would be much appreciated.
