I got back tonight and the police had closed Waldram Park Road at the rail bridge. A witness told me that a car hit a cyclist and he was sure the cyclist was killed.

The ambulance helicopter was in the small park at Westbourne drive but there was no hurry which appeared to confirm the accident was fatal.

They bought the victim back to the helicopter, but a local dog walker said he saw them operate on the guy in the middle of the road. There is pseculation that he jumped from the bridge.
