Is anyone watching tonight, SE London Special, they are now in Forest Hill and loving it!!!
Yes, I thoroughly enjoyed watching it. I like how they chose Forest Hill over ED!Thumbsup

Also there were some references to the area thriving due to the ELL.
For those that missed it (there are quite a few adverts on 4OD). They start talking Forest Hill just before 30 minutes.

The property was on Shipman Road with a vew of my old flat in Farren Road.

Why buy a flat in East Dulwich when you can buy a house in Forest Hill?
Yes, it was my neighbors house, they hid out in our house during the filming. (and Phil snuck down Farren rd for a cheeky fag behind a fence)

Only that couple didn't get the house, the young couple that did buy it are very nice. Excellent neighbors. Thumbup
thanks for posting that. I enjoyed it but thought they could have shown more of the area - the couple wanted somewhere arty/bohemian and no mention of Havelock Walk, and no quick glimpse of Horniman Museum and Gardens which I would have thought is a main attraction of the area
Good news, Elizabeth25! Wink

You'll have to come see the new gaff when we have a bbq soon.
Hello all, Lucy here from the programme! We are now back from our American road trip which was fantastic and have recently resumed our house hunt. Gosh, prices have gone up since we last looked and things are getting snapped up superfast!

Anyway if you know of anyone looking to sell a nice 2 bed garden flat/house let me know! we're really keen to move to the area!

All the best

Lucy x
You can be my neighbour:

although having me as a neighbour might knock another 10% of the value Unsure
Seriously, lovely area to live and very friendly neighbours.

Good luck finding a place.
Ah, cool beans Edd! Thumbsup
Thanks for the link Michael!
Curiosity got the better of me and I watched the programme in fast time on line. Wow, what is to become of the cutting edge that is still Forest Hill, despite the intentions by many to gastopub it into Cla'm. In an unusual bout of self control I've stopped short of a more scathing attack. I also understand that I am in a minority on this site.

Did like the toilet duck advert though.
