I have lost my cat.....he is all black....has a very small white tuft on chest and answers to the name of Dot or as we affectionately call him Dot Dot or dottie........we miss him .....please could you check all sheds in case he is stuck in there and if you see him call Aly on 07860567292 .........thank you .....he has been gone for two days now....
Alypops - which street do you live on? It helps to narrow it down as Dot may not be far from home.
Will keep an eye out in any case.
Have you a photo to put on forum/site and does he have a coller? Wil keep my eyes peeled. Hope to hear good news soon.
Hi Lottie.......no no pictures.........he doesnt have a collar either.......just plain black little bit tubby cat.........thank you for your concern ......will keep you posted. Thanks Aly
I'll keep an eye out too (Tyson Road and surrounding areas) If it is any consolation cats are resourceful little souls - hopefully he is being fed and loved by someone else but will be home soon! get him microchipped when he does

Good luck with the search.
Thank you.......he has gone missing in Beadnell Road....but you know how they like a wander......some posters are going up very shortly....thanks for your concern......Aly
Hi there .....the name of the street is Beadnell Road.....thank you ...aly
I don't generally walk that way but I hope he turns up soon
Thank you so much for your concern.....i really appreciate it.....aly
Any news yet?
If he's not turned up yet, my advice re posters would be to put them up over a wider area, even if it means fewer of them, rather than a few in some of the neighbouring streets.
I would just like to thank everyone for their concern over my missing black cat (Dot).....we had a phone call this morning and its looking like he has been run over ....thanks for all your help.....aly
I am really sorry to hear that Aly. One of mine died last year following an illness and it was horrible - I still miss the mad little madam! My internal eternal optimist hopes it wasn't him, for your sake x Donna
Here is a website where you can not only register your pet for free, but for you it helps reunite pets with their owners and look for your missing pets.

You must place posters in places that are further a field, forest hill post box is key. As many people use the station, hope you find your cat will keep eye out.
Thank you Donna for your kind words.....aly x
Aw, sorry to hear that.

Keep your hopes up, sometimes cat go missing for a couple of days even a week. They are clever, my neighbours cat went missing last year for almost a week. Yes the cat came back , put up the posters if yu need help scanning the posters i help you.
Don't know if you are still looking for your cat, but there is a notice on the Sydenham forum that someone has found a young black and white cat. This one has a collar, but people do sometimes put collars on cats they think have adopted them.
For anyone who is interested, or thinks it may be their cat, here is the link:
