I have heard via my mum that someone was mugged in Taymouny Rise just before Easter - it was a young lady who had her arm broken by the mugger [ scum ], so please take care and be aware when walking down TR

I am not sure the crims will restict themselves to this road.

Sadly this story from Taymount Rise is true. The young lady in question refused to let the mugger take her bag, and as she struggled and was pushed, she fractured her arm. Luckily, her shouts for help drew attention to her plight and she is in one piece, but off work for awhile. I spoke with her a few days after the event, and she was shaken, but not convinced Forest Hill is the crime centre of South London.
It just pays to be alert.
